Newness at Shape It Up

Yo! I made some stuffs for youz.

I put out some exclusive cheapies at the Gloomyville location of Shape It Up! yesterday. I hope you dig them! If not, Putrid will send the reaping clowns after me :O

First is the Neighbor shape. Ever wonder what your next door neighbor was doing when you heard that screeching? Now you have some clue...

And next, a couple of swim suits to wear when you go and jump in the swamp. You can't see from the ad but there are cute little foods on the back as a butt-biting teaser :D

New BRBB Game @ SMOTD

Go to Show Me on the Doll and Try Out the New BRBB Game for Putrid's Newest Posh Prize!

So you're probably saying to yourself... self... what the hell is this BRBB thing? right? Here's Putrid's explanation:

"Your Big Red Button Bomb Prize System, better known as the BRBB, is a very special and unique piece of contest equipment. The game itself is fairly simple, Contestants who wish to try for a chance at the Main Prize just click the Big Red Button to enter the game, if enough Contestants have entered the game to fill the bomb to Critical Mass (which makes the Countdown turn red) and the Countdown reaches 00:00:00 then the bomb will explode and everyone who entered will receive the Main Prize (up to 1000 entries supported).

The tricky part of the game is that whenever a Contestant enters, the Countdown will randomly change. This means that the Countdown may have 10 hours left when you enter the game, but as soon as you do, it could change to where there's only 1 minute left! And if it changes to such a low Countdown and the numbers aren't red (meaning it hasn't reached Critical Mass yet), you'd better hope someone else enters the game soon so that you keep your chance at winning. The game can even award those who save such low Countdowns with what's called a Save Prize, the game owner can elect to give this special 'instant prize' to Contestants who enter the game when there's 10 seconds or less left and the Critical Mass hasn't been reached. This is in addition to the Main Prize.

So what happens if the Countdown hits 00:00:00 and Critical Mass hasn't been reached? The game resets to where its owner set it up and no one gets the Main Prize. Those who entered the last game will have to enter again to try to win."

Soooo If you like the outfit I'm wearing with the parasol and the pony boots go to Show Me on the Doll in Gloomyville and try out BRBB. The outfit is amazing as always with Putrid and is worth $500Ls, so if you don't wanna take you're chances you can always just buy it.

The Circus has Come to Gloomyville and Gloomy Creek!

Not only has Putrid finished the Carnival, but the Motel is set up and ready to get filled up with vendors, AND she made this adorable set! (and she is working on Men's stuff too!!!)

I think Pantalones is absolutely adorable! Yay Putrid for another amazing addition to her store. Plus all the super fun stuff she has added to the Gloomyville - Gloomy Creek Area, She definitely = amazing! Show Me on the Doll is here. There is also a version of Pantalones on Putrid's Midnight Mania Board so make sure you stop by before midnight to get a gift!

Yay! For sparkles and absolutely cute Show Me on the Doll - Little Carnival Lady Dresses! It will be available in Putrid's main store in Gloomyville until July 5th, and just so you have absolutely no excuse not to buy it, it is super affordable at $150Ls for the whole outfit! Inspired by Captain Spaulding of 1000 Corpses and Devils Rejects this awesome get up is perfect for any patriotic holiday!

And of course there is a matching pair of pumps!!

Hello and welcome to the blog for the twisted little place that I call Gloomyville

This creepy little creek, located in a forgotten Bayou is home to me, Putrid Gloom, and some of Second life's most talented and original designers.
I'm so pleased at the reaction of people to the sim. After making the hard decision to close Slaughter City it warms my little cold heart to hear that you love Gloomyville and I am thrilled that so many people decided to join me there.

So as this is my first post, I am going to introduce all of the stores and welcome you as I declare Gloomyville officially......OPEN!

Creative Insanity

This store is fast becoming my favourite AO store of all time. Sandriki rejects the normal sassy typical AOs and instead opts for the weird and wonderful. From Zombies to Pirates, and Fairies to Ghosts, they are original and well executed and I have 4 of them!

Free Finds For Men
When I was taking these shots, the delightful Eliza was just setting up. But I know it will be a fabulous resource for the often neglected men in the SL fashion world

They are still in the process of setting up shop, but I have seen some of the items they are selling and they are awesome. Themed confessionals, and inside the store is a fortune telling ball. Dare you know your future?

The Love Shack ~ Asylum in Wonderland

This area was inspired by my good friend Love Delec, who owns the store Asylum in Wonderland which is in the little shack at the side, hence the Love Shack, and we like the song :P

Love is a supremely talented artist who has a few items in her store right now, but trust me, keep an eye on this place, I know what she is working on and it is epic

This is where you will find us most nights, sitting out on the deck, Jambalaya on the Bayou!

Meat n More

Now this store holds a special place in my heart and I'm glad it's at Gloomyville. When I built the sim, I wanted a kind of 'Deliverence' atmosphere, and I think Meat n More encompasses the ambiance perfectly.

Gory murderous carnie nightmarish items, and also super cheap!

Moonbeams

Decorative house items fit for any Deep South dwelling. Theres something about the normality of Moonbeams that makes this place all the more creepy, like Marylin in the Munsters :P

Saikou

Grimly fiendish japanesey style clothing and hair, also some awesome freebies

Sick With Lust

Red mixes the macabre with the cute with an eclectic mix of cute clothes and serial killer jewellery

House of Voodoo and Annabel Lee

What self respecting Bayou would be complete without it's resident Mambo's?

House of Voodoo sells voodoo inspired accessories and ritual items, as does Annabel Lee
There is a voodoo altar, and the grave of Marie Laveau, where you can petition her for whatever you desire. Watch out for Zombehs!

Who Nose

Well, I'm something of a fan-girl I must admit. Fabulously fantastic quality dresses for what seems to me to be the price of a texture upload. This is a MUST see store, you will be as addicted as I am!

Everything including the kitchen sink, and in fact the bathroom toilet!
